When you make paper, you have to cut down trees. Trees, on the other hand, are immensely important for our climate, they ensure clean air and water, and they are habitats for countless plants and animals. In order to conserve this valuable resource, we thought about an alternative raw material for paper production – and ended up with grass. By introducing the specially prepared grass fibers into the manufacturing process, less pulp from wood is required. This protects our forests and also ensures enormous savings in water, energy and CO2 during fiber production.
