GTR’s aim is to generate emission-free renewable electricity and heat for the region by using the geothermal energy stored deep in the Rupertiwinkel. Through this, GTR contributes not only to the electricity but also to the heat transition in the region. Geothermal energy is available around the clock regardless of the weather. This helps to make our world a little greener. As a Bavarian company, the local aspect is also of great importance to GTR.
