LION Smart was founded in 2008 in Frieding (Bavaria) as a startup. From the beginning, our declared goal was to advance the technology of battery storage. With the development of our own battery management system, we made a decisive contribution to this at an early stage. By founding TÜV Süd Battery Testing GmbH together with TÜV Süd AG, we were able to further intensify our activities in the field of battery development. Today, we work with several OEMs from the automotive industry. With our many years of experience in research and development, our innovative LION LIGHT Battery and the development of prototypes, we aim to redefine the technological possibilities – always with the goal of making batteries better and more sustainable.
