Since 1990, Hanseatische Umwelt CAM GmbH has been dealing with the composting of organic waste, the remediation of degraded soil and the manufacture of ready-to-use earth products. Up to 10,000 m³ of compost and soil are processed in the Sandhagen compost and soil works each year. In addition to the production of compost and soil based on marine biomass, the Hanseatic Environment advises farmers and municipalities, offers services in garden landscaping and is involved in research and innovation projects.
