In our biomass cogeneration plant, renewable fuels from landscape maintenance are used and electricity is produced from them in a sustainable manner. This green electricity is fed into the supply network of Stadtwerke Dinkelsbühl and covers the needs of around 30,000 households. Heat is a by-product of generating electricity. Part of this is given to surrounding companies, residential buildings and a larger hotel complex via the district heating network of Stadtwerke Dinkelsbühl. Another part is used by one of our partners, the Scherzer Gemüse company, to heat their nearby greenhouse facility.
