The British Drilling Association (BDA) is professional trade association formed in 1976, to look after the needs of the land drilling and geotechnical sector in its many formats.
The European Heat Pump Association (EHPA) represents the majority of the European heat pump industry. Its members comprise of heat pump and component manufacturers, research institutes, universities, testing labs and energy agencies. EHPA aims to provide technical and economic input to European, national and local authorities in legislative, regulatory and energy efficiency matters.
The Federal Heat Pump Association (BWP) e. V. is an industry association based in Berlin that covers the entire value chain for heat pumps. Around 650 craftsmen, planners, architects, drilling companies as well as the heating industry and energy suppliers are organized in the BWP and are committed to the increased use of efficient heat pumps. The German heat pump industry employs around 26,000 people and generates annual sales of around 2.8 billion euros. Around 1.5 million customers in Germany currently use heat pumps. Around 200,000 new systems are installed every year, around 90 percent of which are manufactured by BWP member companies.
The Geothermal Capacity Building Programme - Indonesia-Netherlands (GEOCAP) is an international collaboration between Indonesian and Dutch entities with the goal to develop intimately linked geothermal programmes for education and training, research and subsurface databases.
The German Geothermal Association (BVG), established in 1991, represents companies and individual members. It advocates the use of all existing geothermal technologies ranging from shallow to deep, and from cooling to heating, and the production of electricity.
The Global Geothermal Alliance (GGA) serves as a platform for dialogue, co‑operation and co‑ordinated action between the geothermal industry, policy makers and stakeholders worldwide.
As a trade association the GSHPA brings together over 150 members and interested parties from across the heat pump installation industry to develop a strong, dynamic and sustainable environment for heating and cooling systems that are based on heat capture, heat storage and heat transfer, including heat sharing networks and demand side management.
