The HIAT institute is specialised on research and development in the field of hydrogen and fuel cell technology. Particular attention is paid to the development of cost-effective and resource-efficient products and processes for commercialization of fuel cells, electrolysis cells and their components. Based on the development of these components, we are able to design and construct complete systems.
The Hydrogen Clusters4Future bundle already existing expertise in the field of hydrogen technologies in and around Aachen with actors from Industry, Science and Society. All while considering the entire hydrogen life cycle – from production to storage and distribution to use. The goal of the Hydrogen Clusters4Future is to network regional, national and international players from Economy, Science and Society in the joint project and to use the combined competencies to transfer hydrogen technologies from research and development to real world application.
The Hydrogen Hub establishes communities or “Hubs” of stakeholders who work together to drive investment in hydrogen and fuel cell technologyon a local and national scale.
The International Hydrogen Aviation Association (IHAA) is a non-profit organisation which promotes technical advancements in hydrogen aviation sector. The IHAA represents leading companies and institutions that are engaged in research, design & development, demonstration and commercialisation of hydrogen in aviation.
The North West Hydrogen Alliance brings together some of the region’s largest and most innovative organisations, each bringing a unique set of skills and assets to the Alliance. Alliance members represent organisations who want to make the most of hydrogen to drive a low carbon economy and support a green recovery. It is the largest regional membership body dedicated to hydrogen in the UK.
The Scottish Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association (SHFCA) promotes and develops Scottish expertise in fuel cells and hydrogen technologies.
The UK Hydrogen & Fuel Cell Association is the oldest and largest pan UK association, dedicated to supporting stakeholders across the entire value chain of both the Hydrogen sector and the Fuel Cell industry.
