In order to be able to install offshore wind farms in increasingly deep bodies of water, EEW produces so-called XL Monopiles. Around the joint project, eFarming GmbH & Co. KG, initiated by GP JOULE, together with community wind and solar parks, companies and municipal utilities, has set up a modularly expandable hydrogen production and sales network in North Friesland. Our ongoing eFarm Nordfriesland project, which started regular operation with the handover of two fuel cell buses for public transport and the opening of the second hydrogen filling station, was funded by the Federal Ministry with a total of eight million euros as part of the "National Innovation Program for Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technology" funding guideline for transport and digital infrastructure.
