Gaskatel GmbH was founded in 1997 by members of Prof. Winsel’s working group at the University of Kassel. Since that time our team of physicists, chemists and engineers and lab staff is engaged in the development, manufacturing and sale of: HydroFlex – Hydrogen Reference Electrode, pHydrunio – pH-Hydrogen Electrode, FlexCell – Test cell for electrochemical half cell measurements, BiPlex – Gas Diffusion Electrodes for different applications, OC – State of Charge Censor for measurement of sulfuric acid density in lead accumulators.

As one of the largest solar installers in the Braunschweig, Wolfsburg and Hanover region, we install between 200 and 300 new photovoltaic systems, power storage units and charging stations on residential, commercial, municipal and agricultural buildings in northern and central Germany every year.
