HH2E developed the power station of the future. The HH2E-Werk transforms a variable input of sun and wind energy into a stable flow of cost-effective carbon-free heat, green hydrogen and electricity to supply local industries and municipalities.
HH2E projects are based on: the needs of local industry and communities; Achieving price parity of green heat and hydrogen with carbon-intensive energy; Production of a significant proportion of the green hydrogen required in Germany on site. Large amounts of wind and solar power are stored as heat and then made available as treated steam to meet industrial needs. The HH2E plant converts peak electricity from wind and sun into green hydrogen using a highly efficient, innovative electrolysis technology. This is then supplied to industry and municipalities or used as fuel for turbines or fuel cells for reconversion.
