HYPOS e.V. has been a network for anyone interested in the hydrogen economy since 2013. With over 160 members, HYPOS combines the potential of innovative SMEs with the skills of industry and the expertise of universities and research institutions. HYREF GmbH develops and produces fuel cell systems using bio-/methanol as an energy source. The Fuel Cells are infrastructure-independent without requiring structural measures, they are flexible in use and can be implemented ad hoc. With operating times of over 10,000 hours and scalability from 2.5 -50kW, HYREF's methanol fuel cells can be used in many applications with an energy source that is readily available and can be used in almost all areas (e.g. in Class 1 environmental protection areas).
