Porthos

Porthos is developing a project to transport CO₂ from industry in the Port of Rotterdam and store this in empty gas fields under the North Sea. Porthos stands for Port of Rotterdam CO₂ Transport Hub and Offshore Storage.

Progressive Energy

Progressive Energy develops, and implements, low-carbon projects to support the decarbonisation of the energy sector. We have significant expertise in developing complex, large scale low carbon hydrogen and carbon capture and storage (CCS) project. Our current portfolio of projects are forerunners in the establishment, and rapid growth, of the UK’s low carbon hydrogen and CCS sectors.

Puhi

We are a biochar carbon removal company located in Finland. We produce biocarbon, carbon removal and energy.

SCCS

SCCS is the largest CCS research group in the UK, providing a single point of coordination for CCS research, from capture engineering and geoscience to social perceptions and environmental impact through to law and petroleum economics. Our internationally renowned researchers provide connected strength across the full CCS chain. With our unique position SCCS is able to act as the conduit between academia, industry and government.

Shell

At Shell, we believe that CCS will be essential for helping society to achieve net-zero emissions. Our ambition is to work with governments, customers, and partners to unlock the potential for CCS around the world.

Skoggi

Finland’s goal is to be carbon neutral by 2035. This will require widespread emission reductions across all sectors and stronger carbon sinks. Forests are natural carbon sinks. They are extremely efficient at taking huge amounts of carbon dioxide (and other greenhouse gas emissions) from the atmosphere. This process is known as carbon sequestration. Skoggi works with forest owners and businesses throughout Finland to extend the lifecycle of our nation’s forests. This simple act will reinforce carbon sequestration and ensure long-term carbon storage.

Solartron ISA

Carbon capture and storage (CCS) involves the sequestration of large amounts of carbon dioxide (CO₂) emitted from the industrial burning of fossil fuels. There are many technical approaches to CCS, but a common requirement for nearly all large-scale projects is transporting CO₂ from capture sites to storage offshore. Pipelines are the most common method for transporting large quantities over long distances, re-using depleted gas fields for subsea storage. Solartron ISA has decades of experience in designing and manufacturing subsea flow meters. Our Seastreams SPFM's (single phase flow meters) provide high accuracy and reliable flow measurement data in the of harshest subsea environments.
