The tewag GmbH company was founded in 2006 by Prof. Dr. Simone Walker-Hertkorn and Hans Reber. They were joined one year later by Klaus Bücherl. He, like Hans Reber, came from LUBAG GmbH, which is today part of the Tauw Group. The company's founders all have many years of experience in a variety of geological fields. Their expertise is mutually complementary, and forms the basis for the broad spread of tewag's activities in pollution investigation and remediation as well as in systems making use of geothermal energy.
