The Wirtschaftsverband Windkraftwerke e.V. (WVW) was founded in 1996 as an association of operators of wind farms and individual systems in order to secure the economic interests of its members. He is particularly committed to the retention and improvement of the EEG and the design of the energy law framework in favor of renewable energies. The association, which is based in Hanover and has an office in Cuxhaven, currently has over 100 planning and operating companies.
Wood energy is one of the pillars of the energy transition. This applies all the more to Baden-Württemberg. Wood energy has a long tradition here and is well established. A large number of successful companies stand for this. The Wood Energy Association of Baden-Württemberg offers these companies in particular an excellent platform to discuss their interests with politicians and legislators both regionally and nationally.

The non-profit organization TRION-climate is a German-French-Swiss network of energy and climate actors. The purpose of the association is to promote environmental protection through cross-border synergy effects in the field of climate and energy in the Trinational Metropolitan Upper Rhine Region (Statute §2.2).
