DESIOS GmbH is a project and engineering office, mainly for electrical and mechanical engineering. Headquartered in Schwerin, the offered scope covers services from consulting, design, planning, engineering, project management, deliveries and supervision up to the integration of different systems and components to a functioning overall system. The field of activity for national and international projects mainly include industry and shipbuilding for all kind of vessels, as well as the renewable energies especially offshore wind energy.
With wind power projects, we can manage the entire electrical and telecommunications networks from the service point up to the turbine. We design network topologies and connection solutions for wind farms, act specialist roles during the project development, and also serve our customers with maintenance-related tasks after the construction of the network.
The "VERTIKON" small wind turbines work according to the Darrieus principle and are independent of the wind direction thanks to their vertical axis of rotation. They therefore do not need any wind tracking. The barrel looks smooth and aesthetic, hardly any noise is emitted even in strong winds. Therefore, they can also be operated without hesitation in the vicinity of residential buildings. The simple and robust design of the VERTIKON small wind turbine does not require any mechanics. It has no gears, no sliding contacts, no wind tracking, no mechanical brakes, no sensors and no rotor blade adjustment system.
Onshore wind farm. In 2015, the wind farm generated enough power to supply nearly 7,000 households.
