Tangent Energy Systems

We are a UK energy storage technology company. We create smart solutions from 25 kW up to 1 MW.

Tarkenta

Tarkenta is a young renewable energy storage company, focused on delivering bespoke and specialist energy storage solutions. The company not only provides energy storage consultancy and solutions, it’s well established expertise built up over many years by key members of staff, is in specifying and providing mobile energy sources from both small solar and micro wind turbine technology.

Teraloop i

Teraloop is developing a kinetic energy storage system through an innovative fusion of electromagnetic technologies, each already proven in its existing application. Electrical energy is converted to stored kinetic energy, then harvested as required.

Terrafame

Terrafame reduces the carbon footprint of transport by delivering responsibly produced battery chemicals to the global battery industry. One of the world’s largest production lines for chemicals used in electric car batteries is located on Terrafame’s industrial site. The plant is capable of producing nickel sulphate for around 1 million electric cars per year. The carbon footprint of the nickel sulphate produced by Terrafame is among the smallest in the industry.

TESVOLT

From 10 kWh to 100 MWh outputs, connected to low or high voltage, on-grid or off-grid, in combination with solar, wind, hydro or combined heat and power sources – our broad product portfolio covers the full range of applications and can be individually adapted to your requirements. State-of-the-art prismatic lithium battery cells from Samsung SDI combined with our patented and TÜV-certified Active Battery Optimizer smart cell control system form the core of our storage systems. TESVOLT energy storage systems are the economical choice for the most demanding applications. Made in Germany, in Europe’s first ever gigafactory for battery storage systems, in Lutherstadt Wittenberg.

The Centre for Doctoral Training in Energy Storage and its Applications

We tackle industrial research challenges and develop new technologies and leaders that will enable the UK to meet its low carbon targets.

The International Battery and Energy Storage Alliance IBESA

We offer a worldwide network of contacts along the entire value chain of the battery and energy storage industry. Partners can profit from our exclusive high-quality market research as well as comprehensive marketing and public relations package. Our priority is to meet the individual requirements of our partners. We allow multinational corporations and local companies alike to connect and share practice-oriented knowledge.
