We are in the middle of a fundamental restructuring of our energy supply: the old energy sources coal, oil, gas and uranium are being phased out. They are being replaced by renewable energies from the sun, wind, water, biomass and geothermal energy. In the foreseeable future, renewables will provide our entire energy supply. The Federal Association for Renewable Energy plays a key role in this process as the umbrella organization. Together with our members, we are committed to a society that obtains its energy requirements from renewable energies: inexpensive, democratic, decentralized and sustainable. We are the reliable and competent partner for politics in federal and state governments, science and the media.
BioEnergie Verbund e.V. supports and promotes the development and market introduction of environmentally friendly and sustainable technologies.
The association, which has 85 members, currently employs 45 people. These deal with the topics of wood energy, biogas and other renewable energies as well as mobility, material use, bioeconomy, energy efficiency, acceptance and public relations.
CEVI aims to create knowledge accumulation on energy and value issues through establishing organisation of lectures for scholars and practitioners, providing cooperation with different institutions on the national and international level.
